Dowty is planning to reduce noise pollution and fuel burn for the next generation through innovation in the design, manufacture and test of propeller systems.
There are 259 commercial operators around the globe flying with Dowty’s propellers.
Dowty has always been at the forefront of innovation in commercial aviation. We equipped the world’s first all-composite-bladed turboprop aircraft certified to FAR Part 25, the Saab 340, and led the way in full FADEC-integrated digital electronic propeller control systems on the Saab 2000. These developments were the product of Dowty’s collaborative approach and our ongoing mission to help our customers reduce noise pollution and fuel burn. Testament to this is the fact that Dowty’s propeller systems are used on engines from all the world’s leading turboprop powerplant manufacturers.
The mission continues. Dowty is planning to reduce noise pollution and fuel burn for the next generation through innovation in the design, manufacture and test of propeller systems.
